There is currently a vegetation fire at Palisades Dr. and Serfas Club Dr. Cal Fire and Corona Fire Department are responding. Water dropping air resources have been requested. Please avoid the area. Evacuations are lifted.

Greater Energy Efficiency for the City of Corona
On Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at the Corona City Council Meeting, Southern California Edison (SCE) presented the City of Corona’s Maintenance Services Department with a rebate check for $881,844.95 for rebates earned through the Citywide LED Street Light Retrofit.

Ridgeline Splash Pad will be open beginning May 1
Citrus Park Splash Pad will be closed for replacement of the rubberized surfacing, and the work will be taking place during late April through mid-May and will delay the opening of the pad until mid- May.

FLASH FLOOD WATCH YIELDS MANDATORY EVACUATIONS FOR CANYON FIRE BURN SCAR AREA
The NWS has issued a Flash Flood Watch due to predicted heavy rainfall in the early hours of Thursday morning – Thursday afternoon meaning a flash flood is possible. Beginning today at 6 p.m., mandatory evacuations for the Canyon Fire area will be issued due to potential flooding and debris flows.
