On Saturday, September 16th, Kids Rock Free® School of Music at the Fender® Center for the Performing Arts will host an inaugural fundraiser, Paws for the Arts. This fun pet and people event will take place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the South Lawn of City Hall. Proceeds will provide free and reduced-cost music lessons for children, 7-17 years old, from low-income families. In addition to supporting music lessons for children, the Corona Animal Shelter will be in attendance with pets for adoption. This free event is for everyone in the community. In addition to stage performances and canine adoptions, there will be a K9 presentation from the Corona PD, interactive booths for children, information about dog care, local pet businessed, art booths, and refreshments.
