Dive into aquatics season prepared. Join the City of Corona’s Annual April Pools Day on Saturday, April 14, 2018 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Auburndale Community Center. Learn about water safety, enjoy fun by the pool, and get ready for swim classes.
Summer is nearly here and that means days by the pool and at the beach. Before you venture into the water, make sure you and your family get safely prepared for seasonal water-related activities.
The City of Corona offers swim lessons for children 6 months old and up. Red Cross certified swim instructors will test your children for 2018 summer swim lessons. Discounted advanced registration for lessons will be available to all residents who participate in April Pools Day.
Junior Lifeguard program assessments will be held from 1 to 1:30 p.m. The junior lifeguard program is designed for youth, ages 11 -15 years old, who have a desire to learn about the responsibilities and duties of a lifeguard.
