Holiday Lighting Celebration: Light up the Holidays with the City of Corona

  • Date: 12/02/2018 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM

The City of Corona’s Library & Recreation Services Department will be hosting the 2018 Holiday Lighting Celebration on Sunday, December 2, from 4 to 7 p.m. on the Front Lawn of the Historic Civic Center, located at 815 W. Sixth St.

Enjoy a wonderful holiday atmosphere with live entertainment provided by Arts Alive and warm refreshments served by the Corona-Norco United Way. Children can create something special at Santa’s Workshop with Crossroads Christian Church’s helpful elves, have their picture taken with Santa himself for only $6 hosted by the Corona Partners for Parks Foundation, and play in real snow donated by Thomas Miller Mortuary!

Help children in our community by bringing an unwrapped toy for the Corona Fire Department’s “Spark of Love” toy drive to ensure a happy holiday season for all. We have also partnered with the Corona Regional Medical Center’s Hospice Auxiliary to host their “Luminaries of Life” tribute to remember a loved one.

The highlight of the evening will be the ceremonial lighting of the Historic Civic Center complex to launch the holiday season in Corona.
