Join the Friends of the Corona Public Library on Saturday, Oct. 20, 2018 as they welcome five accomplished and award-winning authors for the 6th Annual Author Luncheon. This popular luncheon will feature crime, mystery and thriller authors for you to meet and hear from. A hot catered lunch with dessert is included. Authors books will be for sale during event and a book signing will follow.
Meet the Authors
Brigadier General Anthony J. Tata, U.S. Army (Retired). His last combat tour was in Afghanistan in 2007 where he earned the Combat Action Badge and Bronze Star Medal. He is the author of the critically acclaimed Jake Mahegan series, including Besieged, Foreign & Domestic, and the Threat series, including Mortal Threat, Hidden Threat, Rogue Threat and Sudden Threat. He is a frequent foreign policy guest commentator on Fox News, CNN, NBC and CBS News.
Christopher Swann’s debut novel Shadow of the Lions is a Townsend Prize Finalist 2018 and Georgia Author of the Year Nominee 2018: First Novel. It also was a starred review in Library Journal, and a SIBA Okra Pick Summer 2017
Ivy Pochoda is the author of the critically acclaimed novels Wonder Valley and Visitation Street. Wonder Valley was a Los Angeles Times Book of the Year.
Paddy Hirsch has worked in public radio at NPR, Marketplace, and most recently Planet Money as a journalist and producer for ten years. He came to journalism after serving for eight years as an officer in the British Royal Marines. The Devil's Half Mile, a gripping murder mystery set in 1799 New York City and the early days of the stock market is his fiction debut.
Sara Chen is the fifth and final author. Her first book, CLEANING UP FINN, is out now with All Due Respect Books and is a 2017 Anthony finalist and IPPY award winner.

Tickets are only $20 for Friends of the Library members and $30 for other guests. No tickets will be sold at the door.
