UPDATE AUG. 5, 2020:
The Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund has announced the cancellation of the 2020 The Wall That Heals Tour out of concern for the health and well-being of visitors and staff.
Initially scheduled to come to Corona for October 15 through October 18th, 2020, the exhibit would honor the more than three million Americans who served in the U.S. Armed forces in the Vietnam War.
Given the current circumstances related to COVID-19, the City of Corona understands the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Fund’s difficult decision to cancel the tour. The City will reapply as a host site for 2021/2022. We remain optimistic that we will be able to host The Wall That Heals in the future. Until then, we thank our community members for their support and understanding.

IN-MEMORY PROGRAM
Though their names are not added to The Wall, all who have died since Vietnam that are entered into the program are honored by the In Memory plaque which is posted near the Three Service Men’s statue on the hill overlooking The Wall. When TWTH travels to your community a replica of the plaque is on display at the site. Once entered into the program their photo is added to the IN Memory Honor Roll and is displayed on our website. When TWTH is on display in your community the names of all Californian’s in the program will rotate on the In memory screen in the Mobile Education Center. As I shared with you we have begun to take applications for the 2021 In Memory Ceremony. ABOUT THE WALL THAT HEALS
The Wall That Heals is transported from community to community in a 53-foot trailer. When parked, the trailer opens with exhibits built into its sides, allowing it to serve as a mobile Education Center telling the story of the Vietnam War, The Wall and the divisive era in American history.
The three-quarter scale Wall replica is 375 feet in length and stands 7.5 feet high at its tallest point. Visitors will experience The Wall rising above them as they walk towards the apex, a key feature of the design of The Wall in D.C. Visitors are able to do name rubbings of individual service member’s names on The Wall.
