Winter season would not be the same without our holiday traditions and this year, the City of Corona is adding a little twist to our annual holiday event. Saturday, December 5th, you won’t want to miss the Letters to Santa Drive-Thru Event!
PARTICIPANT GUIDELINES
Know before you go:
This event is free to everyone. No registration is necessary
Complete the letter before you arrive by downloading <here> and printing
Letters will be routed to the north pole. Please make sure your address is correct and legible to ensure Santa can respond to the letter
The first 500 participants will receive a project from our maker exchange program.
There will be no public restrooms available
Event Rules:
Designate a responsible driver.
The number of passengers must not exceed the number of safety belts / car seats in your vehicle.
Guests may enter the City Hall parking lot from Sixth Street on Buena Vista Ave (right turn only). Guests will exit south on Vicentia back toward Sixth street (right turn only).
Patrons must stay in their vehicles throughout the event.
Plan for the occasion - Dress up, decorate your car, and have fun!
Share the community spirit – Say thank you, wave, give thumbs up to our staff, volunteers, and partners; without them, this event would not be possible!
Speed limit inside the experience is 3 mph, attendant will be along the route to monitor.
Donate to Spark of Love
The Corona Fire Department is collecting new, unwrapped toys for the Spark of Love Toy Drive. Bring a toy to donate at the event. Please be sure to maintain proper social distancing and wear your mask when dropping off your toy!
COVID-19 Guidelines:
All guests must remain in their vehicle at all times during the event experience.
Guests must only experience the event in their vehicle, guests arrive through other means such as motorcycles, bicycle, walk-up, etc., will not be permitted.
All guests must be in a seat with a seatbelt, no riding in the back of a pickup vehicle.
Masks must be worn by participants when vehicles windows are rolled down.
Staff and volunteers will maintain a safe distance from vehicles at all times.
