Corona Firefighters invite you to a Fire Prevention Open House this Saturday!
Corona Firefighters will be opening the doors of Fire Station #5 for a special Open House where YOU are invited to learn about and participate in building our Community Wildfire Preparedness Plan (CWPP).The event will encompass a formal presentation followed by breakout modules, a wildland firefighting apparatus static display, and more!

WHAT IS A COMMUNITY WILDFIRE PROTECTiON PLAN (CWPP)?
Nestled at the base of the Cleveland National Forest, the City of Corona boasts beautiful landscapes and views, but also faces significant wildfire risk at the wildland-urban interface. A CWPP will help us identify and mitigate wildfire hazards and improve our fire response capabilities.
