The City of Corona is pleased to announce the assessment of the improvements to Border Avenue. Our Public Works and Community Services Departments are working in cooperation to remove and replace the existing pavement on Border Avenue in two separate sections — from Ontario to Chalgrove Drive and also from Via Santiago to Tenth Street. The section between Via Santiago and Chalgrove Drive was rehabilitated during a previous project.
All of the street trees on Border Avenue have been professionally assessed; therefore, before or during construction, if a tree cannot safely remain, it will be removed and an established 36” box tree will be planted in order to maintain the character and aesthetic of Border Avenue.
Join us for a Community Meeting to learn more and connect with your City regarding the improvements!
The next meeting is scheduled for Monday, February 7, 2022 at 6 PM via Zoom.
