The City of Corona invites you to the Independence Day Celebration on Tuesday, July 4th! Returning with the annual Main Street USA Parade, entertainment at Santana Park, and Fireworks show.
9 AM - MAIN STREET USA INDEPENDENCE DAY PARADE
The City of Corona invites the community to the Main Street USA Independence Day Parade on Tuesday, July 4, 2023. Corona’s Main Street USA Independence Day Parade is a non-competitive parade which provides entertainment, community spirit, and fun for all to enjoy. Drawing 4,000+ families, friends, and neighbors, the parade takes place on Main Street from Ontario Avenue to Olive Street. This year’s Parade begins at 9:00 a.m.

ROAD CLOSURES
The following streets will be posted “No Parking” and closed to through traffic from approximately 6:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on July 4.
- Main Street between Ontario Avenue and Grand Boulevard
- Chatam Circle from the cul-de-sac to Summerset
- Pueblo Road between Main Street and Belle Avenue
- Olive Street between Main Street and Belle Avenue
- Olive Street between Main Street and South Victoria Avenue
Please anticipate increased traffic congestion in the area on July 4.

PRO TIPS FOR A FUN TIME AT SANTANA PARK
🍔 Picnics welcome and vendors available. (Don’t forget: gas/propane BBQs are not allowed. Charcoal only in designated areas)
🎒 Pack-in your essentials including water, snacks, sunscreen, and repellent! When it’s time to leave, pack it out or toss it in the trash. #KeepCoronaBeautiful
🚗 Free parking will be available at Crossroads Christian Church (Enter off Ontario) and Lee Pollard High School. Preferred parking may also be available at Santana Park for $20, while space permits.
😷 All attendees are encouraged to follow CDPH’s latest guidance for the use of face coverings.
⛔ No dogs, pets, alcohol, cigarettes, drones, trailers, or RVs.
PARKING
- Pre-Sale Preferred Parking at Santana Park- $10 parking fee for up-close parking spots sold May 29th through June 29th, as space permits.
- Parking at Santana Park- $20 parking fee for Santana parking lot on the day of the event, as space permits.
- Free parking at Crossroads Christian Church and surrounding community as posted.
Note: There will not be shuttles. We apologize for the inconvenience.

Please note there will be a 30 minute delay for cars exiting the Santana parking lot following the fireworks show for pedestrian safety.

SANTANA PARK NOTICES
- Park fields will be closed beginning Friday for event staging.
- Parking lot will be closed Monday, July 3rd at 3 p.m to allow for Pre-Sale Preferred Event Parking.
- Skatepark will be closed on Tuesday, July 4th.

REMINDER: FIREWORKS ILLEGAL IN CORONA
The Corona Municipal Code prohibits the sale, use, discharge, and possession of fireworks within the City limits. Fireworks of any type are prohibited within the City. On Wednesday, June 2, 2021, Corona City Council unanimously approved an increase in the penalties and fines for the illegal use of fireworks. The max penalty for “Safe and Sane” fireworks has been increased from up to five hundred dollars ($500) to up to one thousand dollars ($1,000) and illegal fireworks from up to one thousand dollars ($1,000) to five thousand dollars ($5,000).
