Remember the Holocaust – Kristallnacht Commemoration at the Corona Public Library

The City of Corona, together with Congregation Beth Shalom, is hosting a special presentation to commemorate Kristallnacht with Holocaust survivor, Harry Davids. Corona will be hosting the annual Kristallnacht (Night of the Broken Glass) Commemoration Program on Thursday, November 9 at the Corona Public Library (650 S. Main Street, Corona, CA 92882).

This year's speaker is Mr. Harry Davids. Born in 1942 in Nazi-occupied Holland, Mr. Davids will share his story of growing up as a child during the Holocaust without ever knowing his birth parents, and the family history that he has spent years putting together.

This is a free program, and open to the public. Doors open at 6:30 PM and the program begins at 7 PM. Light refreshments will be served.

Now, more than ever, it is important that we continue sharing the stories of survivors, so that we can educate future generations of the Holocaust.

About Kristallnacht
Kristallnacht, also known as the Night of the Broken Glass, refers to a devastating wave of violent anti-Jewish activities. Nazis in Germany torched synagogues, vandalized Jewish homes, schools, and businesses, and killed close to 100 Jews. In the aftermath of Kristallnacht, some 30,000 Jewish men were arrested and sent to Nazi concentration camps.
