Guided Hikes - Fawn-ing over Corona’s Deer!

  • Date: 09/21/2024 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM
  • Location: Skyline & Hagador Trailhead
    Corona, California 92882
  • Introduction: Join the City of Corona for a Guided Hike on its local trails!

Did you know that there are deer living in the Cleveland National Forest? On this hike, you can learn about our native deer populations and where they are most likely to roam. Join us as we walk the Hagador Trail while discussing their past and present roles in the forest. There is no guarantee of wild animal sightings.

This hike will be about 3 miles in length and mainly flat with some elevation gain. Please note that inclement weather might postpone/cancel our hike and wildlife sightings are not guaranteed. Park Rangers will provide guidance if any hazardous conditions are encountered, and please note that slippery conditions may exist.

Young hikers (5+) are welcome to participate with their parents. The pace of the hike will be determined by the participants, please plan to be out on the trails with us for at least two hours. Due to the group environment, please leave your furry friends at home.

Please bring:

  • Your own water bottle
  • Sunscreen
  • Hike appropriate attire: a hat, boots that are slip resistant, and walking sticks are highly recommended.
  • No sandals.
  • Binoculars (Optional)

Participation in the hikes will require all hikers to complete a Waiver of Liability. Any participants under the age of 18 will need a parent to sign their waiver of liability. An email confirmation will be sent out to registered hikers on Wednesday, September 18th.
