On the Go brings the magic of Community Services right to your neighborhood! Each week we provide opportunities for families to join us at various locations for hands-on activities.  We look forward to meeting you the next time we're out and about!

2024 Summer Street Fair: Stone Soul

Summer Fun Is Back In Season

Summer fun is back in season with a new 5- night Summer Street Fair! Enjoy the taste of gourmet food trucks, browse around the artisan crafts, and locally sourced products. Plus, for adults 21+, the Corona Parks Foundation will host a beer and wine garden for your enjoyment! Bring your family and friends out to enjoy the live entertainment and fun zone. Mark your calendars for Thursdays, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m., and head to the Historic Civic Center Front Lawn.

The series will kick off on July 11th with No Duh, a No Doubt & Gwen Stefani tribute band, will entertain us with their nostalgic visuals, styling’s & props of the No Doubt videos, complete with costume changes & even some humor. They also include pieces from some old school 90’s bands such as Sublime, Blink 182 & many others. 

On July 18th, The Kings of 88, a talented crew made up of Los-Angeles-based musicians will introduce Corona to a fun-filled collection of all-time classic rock hits by icons such as Elton John, Billy Joel, The Beatles, and many more.

On July 25th, All the Vibez, a dash of Latin music magic comes to Corona: The All the Vibes Band has performed at the famous Disney California Adventure and all over the Inland Empire. Join us for a fun night of music ranging from popular Latin Music to popular English cover songs.

On August 1st, Redneck Rodeo, “America’s country band” comes to Corona for one night only. The Rodeo boys bring country music enthusiasm with their magnetic and authentic style. Join us for some honky-tonk fashion fun.

The 2024 series will wrap up on August 8th with Stone Soul. This band is an 8-piece, horn-blowing foot-stomping, Classic Soul & Motown tribute band that will be sure to entertain with their snazzy suits and spot-on renditions of Classic Soul & Motown hits.

Beer and Wine Garden

For adults 21+, the Corona Parks Foundation will host a beer and wine garden for your enjoyment! All proceeds go to assist in the development, maintenance, and promotion of parks and recreation programs in the City of Corona. Alcoholic beverages must be consumed in the garden space. Please bring a valid ID for age verification.

Full Closure of Sixth Street

West 6th Street will be closed in both directions between Vicentia Avenue and Buena Vista Avenue. Businesses will still be accessible through the alley way behind the businesses. 

Closure will be approximately 3:00pm – 11:00pm on the following Thursday, July 11th, July 18th, July 25th, and August 1st and August 8th.

Detours

West Bound: 6th Street to W Grand Blvd to W 2nd Street to S Lincoln Ave
East Bound: S Lincoln Ave to W 2nd Street to W Grand Blvd to 6th Street

Event Parking

Main City Hall parking lot (400 S Vicentia Ave), which can be accessed on Buena Vista or Vicentia Ave.

Handicap Parking available at the Vicentia Activity Center (550 S. Vicentia Ave.) and the corner of 6th Street and Buena Vista.
