SAVE TIME, SAVE MONEY WITH CORONA’S NEW PLANETBIDS BIDDING SYSTEM

CORONA, CA– The City of Corona is pleased to announce the implementation of PlanetBids™ beginning February 4, 2019. PlanetBids™ is a fully integrated web-based vendor and bid management system designed to streamline the procurement process.

PlanetBids™ will reduce the traditional proposal submission and processing time, bidding expenses, and paperwork. The tool will also increase direct communication between the City and its bidders, as well as provide the public visibility of bid information and current bid statuses.

The new system makes doing business with the City easier than ever by providing an overall improved user experience with expanded features. Key features and benefits of PlanetBids™ include:

• Register as a vendor for free through the online PlanetBids™ portal.
• View project solicitations including documents, addenda, drawings, and bid results.
• Receive automatic email notifications of bid/proposal opportunities based on the products and/or services offered.
• Submit questions online and receive an email notification when responses or addenda are issued.
• Submit bids and proposals online at no cost.
