CORONA IMPROVES ONLINE RECREATION REGISTRATION WITH CIVICREC
CORONA, CA– The City of Corona has partnered with CivicRec to implement its recreation management software solution. The cloud-based recreation platform will allow residents greater access to recreation activities, classes, and services offered by the Library and Recreation Services Department.
“We are excited to usher in a new era of program accessibility, ease of use, and services for our residents. CivicRec will make finding information and registering for activities easier than ever before,” said Library and Recreation Services Director, David Montgomery-Scott.
CivicRec offers intuitive navigation and is easy to use. It is also mobile-friendly, allowing citizens to search for activities, register for programs, and remit payment from a traditional desktop as well as the latest smartphones and tablets.
“We continually invest in our products, such as CivicRec, to strengthen and transform the way local government works and communicates with citizens. We are proud to partner with the City of Corona to help them accomplish their goals,” said Mark Friesen, Marketing Director at CivicRec’s parent company, CivicPlus.
The City of Corona’s CivicRec interface will go live on March 1, 2020. Residents are encouraged to create an account early. They can do so by visiting www.CoronaCA.gov/Registration.
