The City of Corona will be activating its Cooling Centers to help community members beat the heat. The Cooling Centers will be open Monday, June 14th through Thursday, June 17th, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Stay safe in the heat by following these quick tips:

• Drink plenty of water.
• Wear a hat, or use an umbrella for shade.
• Slow down—rest in the shade or a cool place when possible.
• Never leave a child or animal alone in a vehicle.
• Turn on your air conditioner and follow current Flex Alert guidelines.
• Check on friends and neighbors.
