Deceased Person Found Near Railroad Tracks

CORONA, CA– On March 19, 2023, at 3:11 P.M., Corona police officers were dispatched to the rear of a business in the 1400 block of Railroad Street, Corona, regarding a deceased person being found on property belonging to the railway. Officers arrived, determined the person was dead, and processed the scene for evidence. At the time of the initial investigation, the officers were unable to determine the sex, race, or age of the decedent, and there were no signs of foul play. The Riverside County Sheriff-Coroner responded and took possession of the body to determine the identity and cause of death of the person.
