Fill out and submit the form below and our librarians will compile a list of 5 books based on the information you provide. You will receive an email from us within one week with our book suggestions. There will also be brief summaries and links to catalog entries. You may easily place holds on any or all the books that you want to pick up from the library.

Corona Adult Literacy Services (CALS) |
||
The Corona Public Library welcomes and supports all people in the enjoyment of reading and pursuit of lifelong learning. The Library's Corona Adult Literacy Services (CALS) serves community members by offering free Tutoring, Computer Basics, English as a Second Language (ESL), Citizenship Test Preparation, and Career Online High School (COHS) programs. Literacy tutoring will be provided for free of charges to qualified, English-speaking adults in basic reading, writing, speaking, numerical skills, technological literacy and financial literacy. ESL and Citizenship Test tutoring will be offered for free of charges to eligible non-native English speaking adults who wish to improve their English proficiency for schools, jobs, citizenship tests and interviews, and other opportunities. Career Online High School |
||
Corona Public Library, in partnership with the California State Library and Smart Horizons, is offering adults the opportunity to earn an accredited high school diploma and career certificate online through Career Online High School (COHS). The library’s program will provide a limited number of scholarships to qualified adults (19 years and up) who are looking to expand their career opportunities, prepare for workforce entry and continue their education. As part of the program, you can enroll in one of the following areas and will earn a professional certificate upon the completion of the programs: General Career Preparation, Office Management, Children Care and Education (CDA), Home Care Professional, Security Professional, Food and Hospitality (CPFM), Commercial Driving (CDL), Hospitality and Leisure, and Retail Customer Service. Local Genealogy |

The Heritage Room is currently closed for remodeling. The Library & Heritage Room support family history and local history research through our collections. Through our partnership with Corona Genealogical Society, the library hosts over 50 genealogy programs a year to help patrons just getting started and to assist seasoned genealogists break through brick walls.
