~Terms of Use~

An email address is required to book, and a Corona Public Library Card or CNUSD Smart Pass in good standing, and registered to the booked patron, is required at the time of check-in. 

The booked patron must be present in the study room for the duration of the reservation. 

Six (6) study rooms are available to the public. Study rooms are assigned based on group size (regardless of age) and room capacity limits are set in accordance with fire code.

Study rooms may be booked by patrons 14 years or older. 

If children under the age of 14 will be present in the room, the reservation must be booked by an adult 18 years or older who must remain in the study room for the duration of use. 

Study Room use is limited to three (3) hours per day per individual/group. 

All Study Rooms close fifteen (15) minutes before the library closes. All study room users will be asked to pack up and exit the study rooms at the 15-minute closing announcement.

Study Rooms may be reserved up to one week in advance, online, in person or by calling the Children’s Information Desk at (951) 736-2388.

Late patrons forfeit their reservation after a fifteen (15) minute grace period. 

Patrons who leave their study room longer than fifteen (15) minutes will forfeit use of the room. Any items left behind and found by staff will be treated as lost & found, taken to the administration office and turned in to police when appropriate.

The Corona Public Library is not responsible for any unattended items left in study rooms.

Study Room users are required to adhere to the Library Code of Conduct and the Computer Use Policy. In addition, study room users will agree to the following rules:

  • Food is not allowed, and only covered drinks are permitted.
  • Voices and cellphone volumes must be kept low to avoid disturbing other library users.
  • Feet are not allowed on furniture or walls.
  • Furniture is not to be moved into or out of the room.
  • Lights must remain on while the user is in the room and should be turned off by the user when leaving.
  • Patrons will be packed up and ready to vacate at the end of their booking.
  • Before leaving, study room users must clean up after themselves. The study room should be returned to the state it was in at check-in.
  • Upon leaving, the user is to close the door.

Users who violate Study Room Policy (A.9.) will lose their privileges for the day. Repeat offenses of inappropriate behavior that occur more than once within a month will result in a six-month loss of privileges.
