The Corona Military Banner Program recognizes and honors Corona residents and immediate family members ( spouse, parent, legal guardian, child, or siblings) that are serving on active duty in the United States Armed Forces. For the purpose of this program, "active duty" is defined as 12 months of continuous service. 

Banners can be created with the serviceperson's portrait or without. Portraits should be of the serviceperson in uniform and applicants are responsible for supplying the picture. All pictures will be returned upon request.

To participate in the program, fill out the application and include a copy of the driver's license or a current utility bill showing Corona address of the military serviceperson or his/her immediate family member. Each serviceperson is allowed one banner and the banner will be installed for the serviceperson's length of active service. Active duty status and program eligibility will be verified annually. 

The spelling of the name will be taken directly from the application. Once the application is approved, the City will create the banner. Banners will be installed twice a year (May and November) and will remain on display for the serviceperson's length of active service, or when the program concludes. Installation and removal of the banners are at the City's discretion.

Applicant’s that reside outside of City limits will be responsible for fees associated with printing, installing, hardware and labor costs.

WAIVER: The City will replace banners that are stolen, damaged or destroyed due to age, vandalism, or any acts of nature including high winds. The program is subject to all terms and conditions of the City's Street Banner Program
