The Housing Authority of the City of Corona ("CHA") was created on February 16, 2011 and the Corona City Council acts as the CHA Board. The functions of CHA is to oversee the creation of affordable housing and preservation of the present housing stock within the City of Corona. The Board members are made up of City Council Members and the Commissioners are comprised of the Planning Commissioners of the City of Corona. *Note: Corona Housing Authority meetings are held jointly with City Council meetings.

The City of Corona contracts with the FAIR HOUSING COUNCIL OF RIVESIDE COUNTY, INC, a non-profit organization, to provide fair housing services to all Corona residents.

Fair Housing Council of Riverside County, Inc. provides comprehensive services which affirmatively address and promote fair housing (anti-discrimination) rights and further other housing opportunities for all persons without regard to race, color, national origin, religion, age, sex, familial status (i.e., presence of children), disability, ancestry, marital status, age, source of income, sexual orientation, genetic information, or other arbitrary factors.
