Corona PD Receives $75,000 Grant for Traffic Enforcement & Crash Prevention
The Corona Department has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for a year-long program of special enforcements and public awareness efforts to prevent traffic related deaths and injuries.

BRINGING HIGH-END RETAIL TO CORONA IS ROUGH ON THE FEET
Team Corona ventured to the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in Los Angeles this week to meet with retailers and discuss opportunities for business in Corona. Aside from its usual city-wide focus, the team had its sights set on finding high-end retail.

Animal Cruelty Investigation Update - 11 Dogs Still In Need Of A Home
On July, 2017 the arrest of a bank robbery suspect resulted in an animal cruelty investigation in the City of Corona. A total of 55 dogs were impounded. As of today, there are currently 11 remaining dogs available at the shelter in need of a home.

Corona's Talking History: 133 Recordings Available Online
Through the California Audiovisual Preservation Program (CAVPP), 133 sound recordings and oral histories from the Library’s Heritage Room collection are now available online! Browse a variety of content, including interviews and oral histories, speeches, performances, radio ads, and local events. A variety of topics can be explored through the collection including agriculture, labor, segregation, local government, community growth and change, and genealogy.

Corona Animal Shelter Microchipping Services Begin Sept. 13
Beginning Wednesday, September 13, 2017 the Corona Animal Shelter will offer microchipping services to City of Corona’s residents. Microchipping services will be offered for dogs and cats on Wednesdays, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m., by appointment only.
