The Corona Department has been awarded a $75,000 grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety (OTS) for a year-long program of special enforcements and public awareness efforts to prevent traffic related deaths and injuries.

Team Corona ventured to the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) in Los Angeles this week to meet with retailers and discuss opportunities for business in Corona. Aside from its usual city-wide focus, the team had its sights set on finding high-end retail.

On July, 2017 the arrest of a bank robbery suspect resulted in an animal cruelty investigation in the City of Corona. A total of 55 dogs were impounded. As of today, there are currently 11 remaining dogs available at the shelter in need of a home.
