The City of Corona Park Ranger Program works year – round as liaisons between the public and the City of Corona. Park Rangers provides an opportunity to the community by promoting responsible recreation, stewardship, and conserving parks cultural and natural resources for the benefit of our entire community. Park Rangers are responsible for park related ordinance enforcement, educational programming, and assisting at City of Corona’s community clean up events. Easily recognizable in their uniforms, the Park Rangers perform daily patrols, continual safety education, and emergency response assistance they ensure safety for all park patrons.
The City’s Park Ranger program was created to maintain a regular presence in urban parks and trails. By ensuring the safety of park users. The City’s Park Rangers patrol urban and Skyline trails by foot and vehicle patrols and work closely with US Forest Service, Corona Police Department as well as Animal Control Division reducing the need for Corona Police Department officers to respond to issues in parks and Open Space.
