Ontario Avenue Widening Currently, the segment of Ontario Avenue between the intersections of Lincoln Avenue and South Vicentia Avenue require civil and traffic upgrades. The City's Strategic Plan specifically highlights the need for enhancements in this area to alleviate congestion and optimize traffic patterns.

A proposed solution entails widening Ontario Avenue from four lanes to six, incorporating ADA compliant sidewalks, curb ramps, streetlights, raised landscape medians, a reclaimed water system, and dedicated bike lanes. A traffic signal system is also proposed to be added at Othello Lane and Lincoln Avenue intersection. This work will reduce congestion, enhance traffic capacity, improve pedestrian mobility, and increase safety.
