How do I find out if my property is within a flood zone?
Your homeowner's insurance or mortgage company may require you to add flood insurance to your homeowner's insurance policy. As a courtesy to residents, the City of Corona can assist you in finding out if your property is located within a flood zone. Contact the Public Works Customer Service Counter at (951) 736-2259 to inquire about your property.
The most accurate, up to date flood insurance information can be located at the
Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) website (select the Flood Insurance, Maps, and Information link or
click here). You can also call FEMA directly at (800) 358-9616 for help.
How do I get an Elevation Certificate?
If your insurance company has requested an elevation certificate regarding your property, you must contact a licensed land surveyor to perform this service. For certain properties, the City of Corona may also be able to provide an elevation certificate. A fee will apply according to the current fee schedule. Contact the Public Works Customer Service Counter at (951) 736-2259 to inquire about your property.
