Corona Welcomes New Mayor and City Council Members
On Monday, December 10, 2018, the City of Corona certified the November 2018 General Municipal Election and chose a new Mayor and Vice Mayor to represent the City. The total number of votes cast in the City of Corona was 31,068 which included polling location ballots and vote by mail ballots.

The Corona Police Department helps keep roadways safe over the Christmas and New Year's Holidays
During the high-visibility enforcement campaign called, Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over, which runs from December 14 through January 1, 2019, the Corona Police Department will staff more officers on the road to conduct saturation patrols looking for impaired drivers.

"Baby Jane Doe" Funeral
On July 27, 2018 at about 2:36 p.m. the Corona Police Department was dispatched to the area of Cajalco Road and Interstate 15 in Corona regarding an infant found deceased. With the generosity of several organizations, funds have been raised to provide a burial service for “Baby Jane Doe.”
