The NWS has issued a Flash Flood Watch due to predicted heavy rainfall in the early hours of Thursday morning – Thursday afternoon meaning a flash flood is possible. Beginning today at 6 p.m., mandatory evacuations for the Canyon Fire area will be issued due to potential flooding and debris flows.

House Fire Caused by Suspected DUI Vehicle Collision
On Monday, Dec. 18, 2017, at about 1:57 a.m., Corona Police Officers and Fire Fighters were dispatched to a structure fire in the 1000 block of Cleveland Way. Upon arrival first responders found a fully involved detached living quarters with a vehicle driven into the structure.
