Following the successful completion of the final construction punch list for Rincon Street and Butterfield Connector, as well as the formalization of road easements between the City of Corona and the United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), both Rincon Street and Butterfield Connector are now open as of the morning of January 29, 2024.

As part of the ongoing USACE dike project, the next phase involves the permanent closure of the old Butterfield Drive road, scheduled for January 29, 2024. For those heading to the airport, the new recommended route is to take Rincon Street to the recently opened Butterfield Connector, providing a smoother path to your destination.
