VEHICLE VS. PEDESTRIAN FATAL COLLISION
CORONA, CA– On Wednesday, August 23rd, 2023, at 6:00 P.M., the Corona Police Department responded to a traffic collision involving a pedestrian at the intersection of Sixth Street and Radio Road. Based on the investigation, the pedestrian, Louis Vasil Feher, a 46-year-old male from Corona, was crossing Sixth Street in a crosswalk when a vehicle turning left onto Sixth Street from Radio Road struck him. The driver, a 39-year-old male from Moreno Valley, remained at the scene and cooperated with the investigation.
Mr. Feher was transported by ambulance to the hospital, where he was treated for injuries sustained in the collision. Unfortunately, he passed away on August 31st while still at the hospital. The Riverside County Coroner’s Office responded to the hospital and is investigating the cause of Mr. Feher’s death.
