The City of Corona’s Adaptive Recreation Program provides enriching recreational experiences designed to empower individuals with disabilities. Through engaging activities, inclusive events, mobility and exercise, and a supportive environment, participants of all abilities can explore their interests, build connections, and enjoy meaningful community engagement.
All activities are presented at FREE or low cost to participants.
The Adaptive Art Class provided the Corona Art Association meets every Tuesday from 10am-12pm at the Corona Public Library. This FREE drop-in activity is offers guided projects tailored to all skill levels, using a variety of materials and techniques to create unique works of art. Whether you're painting, drawing, or crafting, this class is all about fun and self-expression. For those 14+ with a caregiver.
Fitness Fridays is a fun and active class to build strength, improve flexibility, learn a new sport, and boost overall wellness. There is a different sport offered each month that focuses on the fundamentals and encouraging positive teamwork.
Out of Bounds is an exciting program tailored for individuals with disabilities. Participants enjoy the planned recreational games, creative craft projects, and fun social activities in an upbeat and inclusive environment. For those 14+ with a caregiver.
