Zip Books

Request, Receive, Read, Return, Repeat...Your Library. Delivered!

What is it? Zip Books is a way for patrons to request books that the Library doesn't own. The item is shipped directly to you using Amazon Prime. The Zip Books program is available to residents of the city of Corona. There is a limit of 3 books per month. Each book must cost $50 or less. The total value of books borrowed per month per family cannot exceed $150. Please see the new Zip Books flyer for the full details about the program.

Don't have a Corona address? That's okay, the Zip Book program is available through many California libraries. Check out the California State Library's list of participating libraries to find a library near you.

How to request a Zip Book:

Step 1: Log in to the Library's catalog with your library card number and password.

Step 2: Click on the 'New purchase suggestion' link in the middle of the screen.

Step 3:  Fill out the Purchase Suggestion Form. Remember to click on the 'Submit your suggestion' button when you are done.

Step 4: Library staff will email to let you know if the book has been approved or denied and when it has been ordered.

Step 5: Keep the Zip Book(s) for up to 6 months! Limit of 3 items per month. Zip Books must be returned before requesting a new item the following month.

How to return a Zip Book:

To return Zip Books, you must hand your item(s) directly to a Library Staff member at the front counter. Let them know you are returning your Zip Book(s) to ensure removal of the item(s) from your account. Zip Books must be returned during normal library hours of operation.

‍Zip Books must NOT be returned through the book drop. Zip Books returned through the book drop will be presumed LOST.

Friday 10am - 6 pm
Saturday 1pm-5pm.
