Development Services

The Development Services Division of the Planning and Development Department is staffed by a team of Civil Engineers and Permit Technicians. We work collaboratively with property owners and developers to review and permit discretionary and ministerial development projects. Our goal is to provide a transparent and efficient plan check and permit process.

Plan Reviews

The Development Services Division performs a variety of plan checks for the City of Corona including:

• Grading Plans  - Flowchart, Checklist
• Dry Utility – Flowchart
• Public Improvement Plans - Flowchart
• Public Landscaping Plans
• Tract and Parcel Maps - Flowchart
• SB9 Urban Lot Split Maps - Flowchart
• Lot Line Adjustments
• Easements and Street Dedications
• Water Quality Management Plans (WQMPs)

Permits

The Development Services counter issues permits for grading, street closures, overloads, and encroachments for construction within the public right-of-way. Requirements for obtaining a construction permit can be found here.
