Home MenuPublic Works Inspection
The Public Works Inspection section provides a broad spectrum of services related to Public Works activities. These services include the inspection of all above ground (street improvements, curbs, gutters, sidewalks, street lights, traffic signals, pavement striping, etc.) and underground (sewer, water and storm drain) improvements for private development and City-owned projects.
The purpose of inspection is to ensure the compliance with plans, specifications, local, state and federal laws, regulations and ordinances. Furthermore, this section is responsible for the operation, management and administration of the underground service alert program, in compliance with state law, which protects City-owned underground facilities.
